I appreciated your thoughtful post, Lather.

I have expressed myself on this subject all I have the energy to, so I won't join the argument yet again. But I will post a statistic. I think it's an important one, because desperate women will get abortions whether they do it in sterile clinics or on kitchen tables.

Apologies for the age of the statistics. I'm sure there's a way to get the updated stats, but I suspect that though the specific numbers would be different, the ratios would be about the same.

I found this in the Sept/Oct 1989 issue of Hippocrates magazine. The magazine later changed its name to Health.
