From JP Morgan 9/1/99 report on the Q: "Also reported today was that Qualcom is likely to remain in the handset business for the next 2-3 years. We continue to strongly disagree with that. We continue to believe that Qualcom is currently evaluating alternatives to exit this business -- which will likely have very positive EPS and multiple implications for the stock"
