So far AMD has nothing. I just went to Fry's and they don't have 500,550,600 or 650 K7. They did say they had a meeting yesterday and a spokesman for AMD said "they should have motherboards and K7's next week sometime". The Fry's staff said they had been told the current motherboards where "blowing up or something like that".

The only thing I saw remotely K7 was a box of K7 fan kits. As for the K6-2/3 they only had speed grades up to 450Mhz.

re: The higher speeds are more profitable and lower in
yield, so a balance exists which can be maximised.
