Allow me to refute your argument point by point:
1. The Ozone hole depletion is destroying the planet- I loved your explaination of the ozone hole. I have just one question - if the ozone hole is simply a natural phenomenon due to the tilt of the Earth, why is there no hole over the Arctic? There should be according to your reasoning.
Alaska, Japan, and Siberia also have volcanoes.
2. What about this global warming that is going to flood the world and kill us all? - Great argument about the fact that volcanoes pollute. I once argued the same thing. The problem with this point is that it is the balance of CO2 that is relevant. The fact that we produce only a few percent of the amount produced by volcanoes can have a huge effect. Furthermore, we are inhibiting the enviroment's ability to deal with CO2, natural and manmade. CO2 "sinks" such as the Siberian forests and the Amazon are being destroyed. There are fewer places for the CO2 to go. Also, the newest satellite evidence shows an increase in global temperature, at least according to NOAA who should know better.
3. Aren't we almost out of oil?
We may very well have the oil to last us a while longer. I simply argue that we shouldn't use it as it exacerbates the nonexistant global warming problem.
4. Why don't you support protection of our environment?
How wonderful that you are able to support the duality of mind that you don't want the strip mine the rain forest and yet do nothing to stop it. Is profit really that much of a god that we can't try to protect natural areas?
