I had gone away the weekend that Ernie won at Mich..

I had a tape in to record it. I come home late Sunday night cue up the tape make something to eat... I come into the den, sit down and turn on the TV and start the tape... Benny and Ned are running down the starting grid when I notice the light blinking on the message machine..... (Your antenna should go up about now)

Without thinking I hit the play button and it's my Mom, the only other NASCAR fan in the family..

All she says is "Hey how about that Ernie Irvin winning the race."
I almost smashed the damn thing.<ggg>

Well..... I eventually forgave her for that.....I had to...She's the one that get's the Daytona 500 and Pepsi 400 tickets every year.. They live in Cocoa Beach, about an hour from the track...

So I know the feeling
