Bruce, I will be posting from time to time whenever I find anything relevant to the Second Coming during 70AD.
"1And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein. 2But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months. Revelation 11
John is told to measure the Temple. The Temple is still standing after John wrote Revelation to the seven Churches. This is obvious that the destruction of the Jews and the Temple at Jerusalem were not at this time destroyed. To me this proves that Revelation is talking about the Second Coming of Christ that occured during the Jewish war with the Romans in 70AD. As you know, some try to say that Revelation was written in 96AD, therefore the persecution and destruction of the Jews had already happened, so we have those called futurists, who believe that the Second Coming has not occured and is still future after more than 1800 years. The Lord and the Apostles were not liars or mistaken when they mentioned many times that the tribulation would occur in their generation.
