Akula, my two children are in their 20's and we have many discussions about the very things you are concerned with. I agree that to many people the acquisition of wealth has become an end and not a means. I know that many older people have become jaded to the needs of others and are only concerned with their own interests and the characterization
of the younger generation as a decadent, rude and demanding group who want everything handed to them on a silver platter is no more than a rationalization to ease their own conscience. Fortunately, there are some people who are sensitive to the needs of others. So don't count us all out. Some of us have gained wisdom. And I feel that my children and many of their friends are very responsible and aware that we all have to make an effort to be concerned for our fellow man. And this is the only way that many of the ills of society and the world as a whole have a chance for a future that will be a civilized place to live in. Our hope for the future is in the passion of the younger generation. Before you know it your generation will be in control. So it will be up to you to find the means to make the changes that will make it a world that you want to live in. BTW not that it makes any difference, but my name is Mrs. Kahn
