Bill, the sales rep. I spoke with seemed very knowledgable and indicated that their customers ask for and prefer Intel. They also indicated that they are having problems with other brand with 2 out of 5 machines returned for freezeups and overheating, and for this reason they do not like to sell the other brand. Intel rolled out the PIII sales display months ago, and sales of Intel have been consistently strong and Intel is the preferred choice. You can see this by the amount of activity in front of the PIII "blue door" display and the amount of activity on the floor with the Intel rep. on weekends.
