I consider that only a general statement. Christians were living under dire circumstances. They were looking for the Lord's return based upon what they were told. How can you overlook these verses I have previously posted and give a satisfactory answer without saying that the Lord and his apostles were mistaken? Verily I say unto you, Ye shall not have gone over the cities of Israel, till the Son of man be come. (Matt. x. 23).
