Many of us are frustrated.
As can be seen from the shouting match on RB, some are tired of surprises. To some extent Yost has created a credibility problem. Last years results were not "flat" as he said they were. In addition, a review of the recently released statements shows that Double Case alone could probably never bring BANY to profitability--less of a loss on less sales is not the road to profit. Also, increasing accounts receivable on falling sales indicates somebody is not watching the store. And what is that note receivable for 75k all about?
Unfortunately, many of us hoped for a far more positive performance the last month than we have seen. The acquisitions give us hope for the future but if they were profitable and it is a good strategic fit, they would have purchased BANY not vice versa. I am no expert on NASDAQ or the SEC but the way they work if one comma or capital letter is out of place the form will get kicked back. In addition, I have been told by an acquaintance that if someone is sick or goes on vacation the paperwork sits until they return. So whatever the truth is--we wait.
To those who suggest a dividend of ANYI--this isn't as good as it sounds as ANYi would join Bany at 25 cents.
Hopefully, BANY will be resurrected from the land of the pinks soon. Remember the saying--be careful what you asked for, you just might get it. We wanted the "E" to go away.
I hope the ship is righted soon so we can sail with a gentle breeze behind us--not a gale putting us in an uncontrolled jibe.
