Children vs. animals --- a compassion thing... Many believe that those who abuse children begin walking their perverted path with the abuse of animals; hence, the connection. Cheers, PW. P.S. I find my neighbour's cat less bothersome than their kids. P.P.S. I don't support the 'Animal' people. I think they've gone nuts over saving every mangy mutt only to keep it caged for life because no sane family would ever want it as a pet. P.P.P.S. I think if people want a pet they should be responsible: feed it, vet it, fix it, spend some time with it, and put it to sleep when it's life becomes unbearable.
