Felix, It is common for sales staff to knock items they do not have in stock. What are they going to do, praise them and have you leave and go elsewhere to look for them? I have never had an AMD based machine returned for heating problems and the few Intel based machines returned due to overheating were fan seizures(common in the cheap Taiwan fans). There is no way to even know what CPU is in the machine once you pass the boot screen as long as there no AMD/Intel stickers on them. Right now the Intel chips dominate the middle and low ground as well as the high ground. AMD currentlyhas the top spot until Intel fields a faster P-III and at that instant AMD will field a faster one. Ever read the Ernie comic strip?, see his friend who sells cars?....think CompUSA sales staff ....not knowledgeable...crafty. Bill
