lucent.com Looks like Lucent put in a US$28 million system into X-stream Network (XSNI:Nasdaq BB), a free Internet ISP in the UK, from what I can gather. X-stream Network was the first to offer the world FREE Internet. X-Stream is in 3rd. place in the UK Free Internet game. They are working on 450,000 subscribers in the UK and moving into Europe. They make money through internet advertising "only one click away from a Transaction". FreeServe (FREE:Nasdaq) owned by Dixons is #1 in Free Internet with 1.3 million subscribers and their subscriber value, according to analysts from this weekend, is US$2400/subscriber. Their share value is US$28 3/8 on the Nasdaq. X-stream is on the Nasdaq BB at US$2.69/share and I think their subscriber value could be less than 10% of FreeServe. Does anyone have any more information concerning the Lucent Technology and X-stream Network deal? Thanks!
