Chairman and CEO Robert F. Gruder announced today the election of J. Alex McMillan as a Director.
McMillan, President of The McMillan Group, L.L.C., merchant bankers and consultants, formerly represented the Charlotte area in the U.S. House of Representatives for ten years, was President of Harris-Teeter Supermarkets, a multi-billion dollar revenue company, for eight years, and was CFO of Ruddick Corporation, parent of Harris-Teeter, for eight years. He is a Director of Interstate/Johnson Lane and served as a Director of Info Systems prior to its recent merger with Sykes Enterprises.
"Alex brings to the Board extensive financing experience and a working knowledge of the budgetary and management issues facing the Federal Government and business with respect to Alydaar's unique solutions to repair large software systems impacted by the Year 2000 issue," said Gruder.
