Ericsson clearly saw the crises facing the company and with there sense of impending doom surrendered to CDMA.The contracts will roll in BIG to Ericsson now that they washed the crow taste out of there mouth with potent CDMA anti-GSM killing medicinal mouthwash.Ericsson is now positioned to be a force to be reckon with in the CDMA infrastructure world. They have a healthy stance with QUALCOMM's fresh history still in the walls, as they wonder QUALCOMM's old head quarters and infrastructure buildings.QUALCOMM's Brain Trust housed in the new shiny black glass and white building up the street is there to nourish and feed the CDMA machine that will make the CDMA toll booth very busy in the up coming CDMA conversion revolution. The TDMA/GSM teams are out scouting for a burial site in the Nevada desert for there sick equipment ,hopefully well below the sand ,thus little polution to the flying condors. At&T,Bell South,Omnipoint,Pacific Bell all candidates for the sand traps that make Dune look benign.Archiologists digging for past civilization will find the old rusty GSM/TDMA ancient fossiles in the sand in the 3000 and wonder what that was all about.Nextwave will rise from the ashes of the C Block asphyxia with new found allies and order BIG from the shiny new buildings in the Wireless Valley.
