Griz - Are you walking bearfoot in the Black Sands again, laying on a white beach towell on a Black Lagoon of Sands that sticks via static electricity, gets under your skin and behind your ears? Is the dail on you watch glowing or is the magnet on your Keychain covered with the dark stuff?
And - they have diamonds.
The WEST is on Public ( US ) Tele this week, and Civil War Photgrapher McSullivan went to the Great Basin on rummors of COAL for the finding that was out there. I suspect the rumors that led him there because of the Rail Roads need for train Boiler Coal back then were all based upon sightings just as I saw of some 30 foot piles of Black Sands west of Phoenix/Wickenburg all hemitte based oxides of irons ala changes of granitoids/ igneous types as opposed to Carbonaceous that in far distances away are the surface Limestones we all love - a dual play now in my geo read- TWO TYPES! Three with the Diamonds! He never found any in AZ & NV but when I staked a few years ago, I saw black stuff that looked like coal. ( Already staked by others) It was black sands, I only got dustings of black in the washes. Magnetic fractions include these Black Sands, they are real easy to seperate and run higher metals values than non magnetic. Good going to fing a pile or whatever of the stuff. Fudge is sweet and dark. Sugar is in many forms. Jackie Gleason would say, in another time & place; " How sweet it is!"
Chucka-a little bit of HILLBILLIE travelling music -please!Err, Peers! Pear Juice a toast, Scale a Muskeg and fry it up with lemons and serve it with Tarter sause! That is sweet also. Downhome good- even if I swamped it some!
