Hi Mark,
Good to hear from another Nextel longtimer, and thanks for your kind words. Sounds like your doing well and living large in big sky country. Good for you. One of these days i'm going to get some cowboy boots, a 10 gallon hat (and i'll need a big hat when N hits 200 <G>) and head out to a relatives place near Darby, Montana. Yeee haaa! Maybe i'll never come back.
My business will be two years old in a few weeks, and while the first year gave me new meaning of stress, things have evolved nicely. Mel Brooks says it's good to be the king, but doesn't talk about sharks trying to steal the spoils. Live and learn.
It's been many years since i've lived in Detroit, however the many friends, family, and business customers bring me there often. Haven't seen a tiger game all year! Shame too, it's the last year for the old ballpark....ready or not here comes Comerica Park. Thanks for not bringing up the Barryless Lions. <G>
Regarding NXLK, yes, I bought some right after they/NXTL purchased WNP, strickly on faith in Big Mac. But greed set in and I sold for a nice profit, but nothing near where it's at today. I often think about last October when they were at a very affordable $10, and what a few thousand shares would look like today in my account. The valuation of NXLK today absolutely befuddles me, and I refuse to chase it, but it still looks strong. I can't figure it out. Feel free to shed some light if your so inclined.
"P.S. Does Al Gutkin ever post here? Wonder how things are going for him in Disneyland and how things are going for his brother,"Mr. Sunshine On a Cloudy Day"?"
LOL. Haven't heard from Al in while now and his brother is distant memory. Never thought i'd say this, but I miss Al. He really had a unique and sometimes very accurate perspective on "things". Hope he stops by, even if it's to tell me i'm full of bovine excretion! <VBG> Some of the longtimers like Arnie and Bernie post regularly on the Yahoo board which is surprisingly civil (especially since the WCOM'ers left {wonder why?}) and populated by knowledgeable and informative posters. Check it out, if you ever set that fishin pole down.
Best wishes for you and family.
I'll leave the light on for you.
