Sean

I have a hardware question for ya while running a QP scan.

I keep all my stock data a SCSI drive. The drive does not have onboard termination and I'm having difficulty getting an inline terminator to work under NT. But thats another story. The upshot is that I'm temporarily running QP scans on data residing on an unterminated SCSI drive and I've noticed some abnormalities on the charts of one scan in particular.
My question is would lack of termination be causing the following.

I run a simple exponential MA crossover scan.
Say,

If Emovavg(0,13,cl) > emovavg(0,89,cl)
And Emovavg(-1,13,cl) < emovavg(-1,89,cl)
Then
Println symbol,",",description;
Endif;

The charts of the stocks output from this scan will not all show the 13 dma crossing the 89 dma today. Some will.. some won't...some are close..some not even close. Is this data error I'm experiencing and if so, do you think lack of termination on my database drive is the culprit?

BTW.. this phenomenon happens with other ma periods entered into the scan as well.

Any thoughts?
Clarence
