Baucus' Chief of Staff Says She Was Fired for Refusing Him

H E L E N A, Mont., Sept. 4 — A top aide for Sen. Max Baucus, D-Mont., has reportedly accused him of firing her after she rejected his repeated sexual advances the past 15 months.
The Washington, D.C. publication Roll Call reported Friday that Christine Niedermeier claimed she lost her job as chief of staff because she had confronted Baucus about the alleged sexual harassment and told him to stop.
