Mike, To what extent will that continue? Heck if I know. I'm not an analyst.
I think the metric you're looking for is not the YPEG or the JPEG or the MPEG, but rather the WAGPEG, where WAG is a Wild-Ass Guess <g>. In any case, we are in the fortunate position of having a still-not-outrageous run-rate PE, which seems like the most realistic metric available at this point. Saying that present and future are the same, it is the "Zen" metric <g>, but will not be of much use to PEGophiles. The difficulty in analyzing Q's situation is furthermore compounded by heavy seasonality (overweight the Xmas quarter), so results may be lumpy and comparisons strained for a good while yet. Following CDMA subscriber growth and attention to significant events should win out over tea leaves and tongue-tanglers.
JMHO, Greg
