bearcub,

I saw that your post re Y2K malpractice was directed to "Carolyn F.".

Do you honestly think that "Carolyn F." REALLY cares about Y2K, even though she said in her previous post that her husband was a doctor?

Her recent contributions on SI over this past weekend, besides past posts on "Thread Moron" thread: Subject 20633

Have been to:

THREAD STARTED BY "CHEEKY KID" CALLED "SI Admin", which immediately takes you OUT of SI to HIS website for 1-2 seconds, BEFORE it brings you back to SI.

Most people don't catch the URL change. I know Cheeky is trying to be "cute", but I don't like the idea that I log on to SI "secured" ... and then unknowingly get knocked off to someone elses site, for whatever reason. IMHO - Sets a bad precident. Others may do the same for different, not so cute, reasons.

Here's the URL you get when you click on "SI Admin" in "Hot Subjects" (Keep your eye on the URL line - Takes several seconds for SI URL to come up.): unicus.com

Try it on SI's "Hot Subjects":
siliconinvestor.com
You get that same URL.

You might notice some BLANK threads on SI's "Hot Subject" list, which you can't access. This is where else Carolyn [who's husband was supposedly a doctor] has been posting. I'll help out and give you the links:

COMPUTERS:
Subject 30556
COMMUNICATIONS:
Subject 30547

You might find her credible, and worth the effort to respond to. I don't.

Cheryl
