Yes. Sun made a big deal of 100,000 downloads of Solaris 7 after a couple months time. 100,000 downloads in a matter of days is blowing their minds (IMO). The big number for Star will come from Wintel/Linux OEMs loading the free suite as a value add. That, and later the portal elsewhere. You're right-on about the European thing. Also, like Linux, the Star distribution will be hard to gauge as one Star CD may install multiple machines. -JCJ
