(yet another off topic) bearcub, I hope that I do not enlighten you to things of a nature to cause you to lose faith in the human race, but then if you are a goldbug then you must have set you faith_ability into reinforced concrete with extra chicken wired used
Is there such a thing as an un"organic trees?". O my yes, just you think of all those Christmas Trees each year needed to hang pretty lights and to welcome presents under it. Its a business to grow them. and the faster a small little tiny seedling can absorb water+food, then the faster it will meet it's end and end upright waiting for a buyer.
Time is money, so letting Mother Nature take it's Time is not allowed here.
You cannot fool Mother Nature and make it violate its laws, but you can sure wreak havoc upon it and cause unnatural results.
I saw the original movie "Island Of Doctor Morral" and the quest to create animals with human instinks, and then the new one with that famous actor that was in Street Car Named Desire, well the first was a close as you can keep to real in a movie, but the second was HollyWood at its most gross to replace a good story with visual effects as more important. Both were directed and acted very good tho, just what was delivered was different.
So where do you think all those discarded Christmas trees go to ?
Its wood, and the branches can be removed easily leaving a short solid easy to stack and transport pole. Recycled into charcoal maybe ?
If so, did the heat with no oxygen to make charcoal remove the unnatural ways counter to nature go away ? What did the wood have extra inside of it ? Some things like lead or mercury can be heated and remain unchanged. But we can ask Zeev if inside a charcoal can they leave and raise in the heat currents and coat or enter the meat. Maybe lead will not boil and just ooze down under gravity, but mercury is already a liquid at room temperature, so maby it can boil upwards ?
The last two example of lead and mercury are not which is used to "help" Mother Nature in tree growing, but it makes the point.
Needless to say I buy organic charcoal eventho I'am sure any other brought has an USDA Seal Of OK'ness. Ya.
<< a little hard to use petrified wood in the barby.:)>> I agree unless the minerals that took over living space from the organic residents can burn.
