It seems that you people are forgetting or choosing not to acknowledge that homosexuality is not a choice. Disapproving of the way someone is, is downright evil. When you teach children not to approve of homosexuals, you are influencing them to believe in their hearts that being gay makes someone inferior. This is a terrible poison to feed your kids, and remember, every time you say something you have a chance to influence others. When you consider how fragile we all are, and how much human misery exists, wouldn't you rather spread something positive than spread prejudice?
Children who disapprove of homos will grow up to teach similar values, and it goes on and on. Guess what? Whether you like men or women, it doesn't make one bit of difference to anyone but you and your partner. Just as heterosexuals cannot decide to become homos or be influenced in any way to actually 'convert' to homosexuality, the same goes for the homos - they can't 'convert'. Certainly they or anyone could change their behavior, but just a behavior change doesn't mean a true internal 'conversion'. You are what you are and no approval or disapproval can change that.
Now if you are what you are and you just happen to love hitting people over the head with hammers, then that's a different story. But being attracted to members of your own gender doesn't hurt anyone does it??
