It is plain that the Christians did as they were told and God resurrected and translated them into Heaven. Who was left to leave a record of their departure.
James, so you're saying that at Jesus 2nd coming at or around 70 AD, the Christians were resurrected and translated into heaven and that this doesn't appear in the pages of history because there was no one left around who would admit to it. But why didn't Christianity die out at that time? After all, the Christians were now in heaven. Who was left to pass on Christian teachings and writings? If at Jesus's 2nd coming, say in 70 AD, the Christians were translated into heaven, there shouldn't have been any Christians left the next day, right? BTW, if we can identify any specific individual Christians who were alive in 70 AD but who continued to live for years afterward, wouldn't that negate your theory? I suspect it is possible to identify some such person, though am unable to do so right now. |
