Price competition works best between more or less equals, any other situation the higher volume seller gets the hit, as we have seen from the forgone profits of Intel in the last year or two. Sure they still made big money...but they left more on the table than they made in that time from their CPU business...all to kill AMD...a failed attempt. It looks like a rabid 'kill AMD' campaign that goes beyond economic logic took place.< No offense, but this is the dumbest post I have seen in three years on this thread. Absolutely the dumbest. "...left more on the table than they made." Huh??? Intel made approximately 6 BILLION dollars a year average over the last 3 years. Give or take a lot more than AMD made in any of those years. Intel left more than that on the table? What does this mean?? They should have made 12 BILLION a year??
