James, Thank you for the nice post. Everyone but me responds to Emile as though he was posting malicious lies trying to generate hatred against the Jews. This may be true, I don't know, neither do I know if his posts are being done in hatred. I cannot tell what the motives are in the man's heart, nor in any person's heart. As I have said before that is God's job. Does this mean I believe all that he posts? No! Does this mean I support all his posts? No.
Why does this thread think that I support Emile's postings? What I support is his right to post on an open forum, as I support everyone's right to post. Since I don't know the man, I'm certainly not going to put myself in the position of judging the man, especially since the Bible teaches us not to do this. IMO, one of the most difficult things to do, if not impossible to do, is to accurately transfer the ideas in one mind to be the same ideas in another mind. We try to communicate but where there is a human involved, there is error(sin nature).
As previously stated in other posts, Emile and I agree on some things relating to Scripture, and on somethings we do not. This is not unusual for people who have been worshipping in a congregational church where each member is an autonomy and has equal rights with every other member including pastor, deacons, etc. I speak of voting rights and presentation of ideas in study groups or whatever.
My belief that the Jews have much influence, more than we know, in the world, didn't come from Emile. I study by Bible and try to relate that understanding to the things that I see happening in the world as it heads for it's destruction(2 Peter 3:10). It has been my observation that nearly(not all) all major happenings, both good and bad have come from some movement usually involving the Jewish people, either for or against. For instance, the establishment of the Christian Church, although ordained by God, came out of the Jewish people. The atomic bomb from theories formulated by A. Einstein(sp?). etc.
Bro James, you on the otherhand are very good at expressing yourself. To me you come across very clear. Is my understanding of the things you say exactly like what you intend for me, I doubt it. This is neither of our faults, it is the limitation of the flesh.
Last but not least, my prayer for the members of this thread specifically, and all men in general, is that God will have His way with us.
There is no greater thing in all of God's creation than to be able to commune with Him. He has provided it all. Other things are simply just not that important, although they may be important.
Simply to the cross I cling.
God blesses us when He warns us,
(Luke 21:36 KJV) "Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man."
Love,
David |
