Too bad you got the details wrong. You could just as well say that the plunge in drunken driving deaths and accidents came about with the rise of the internet. That fact is that the decline has virtually nothing to do whatsoever with treatment. That fact is that drunken driving has been criminalized and the alcohol threshold lowered substantially. The criminal sanctions today for drunk driving convictions are by far the harshest in the nation's history.

Just the opposite of your theory. The difference is that alcohol is legal.
