This is why Intel may not drop the prices on the 600/650/700/733 speeds because if they cut those prices and AMD can only meet 10% of market demand then Intel bears 90% of the losses. The only time this would be true is if Intel and AMD had the exact same cost structure. Intel's forte has always been in producing where others couldn't at levels of profitability others could only dream at. To think that AMD has suddenly become an equal with INTC in this regard is optimism that Pollyanna would blush at.
