Mike,

Both NT and LU have adapted their end office switch subscriber line cards, in the newer options, to handle both DSL and IP. NT calls it their Megabit service option, I believe. LU did some things (or is in the process of) implementing their elemedia software to the same end. I have not tracked this very carefully over the past couple of months, but that's it in a nutshell, from my sometimes questionable recollection. Anyone caring to elaborate on these features, please feel free to do so.
