Hitsgalore.com Launches New Site Design, New Affiliate Program, And Free CD Music
RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Sept. 7, 1999--Hitsgalore.com, Inc. (OTC BB:HITT) has announced the launch of its new, re-designed website featuring an innovative Affiliate Program and Free CD Music, as promised in a previous press release.
Company Chairman and Director of Technology, Dorian Reed, stated, "We are pleased with the look and feel of our new site, and we think users and members alike will appreciate the changes. We are especially proud our Internet programming and design team at Solvere, Inc. (http://www.solvere.com)."
Alex Troung, CTO responsible for managing the Company's team of programmers and intellectual properties in Irvine California, stated, "Our team is the finest anywhere. They are dedicated, and expert in Internet technology."
The Company also recognizes the efforts of Airvae Design Partners (http://www.airvae.com), an outside team member that contributed to the look and feel of the affiliate banners and to the Company's internet homepage.
Reed continued, "We believe our new Affiliate Program, called "LinkPOWER(TM)," is one of the most innovative on the internet. Affiliate programs have meant exposure for many internet portals. Instead of drawing generic traffic to our home page in an attempt to sell something to someone, we draw quality traffic for a specific purpose looking for a valuable service, free. We believe this, coupled with the fact that affiliate members can determine when they get paid from the program, is totally different from others affiliate programs. We expect to attract 30,000 to 50,000 new affiliates over the next 6 months."
The Company also expects the Free CD Music offer to do very well as it fits Hitsgalore's user and sponsor demographics. The music selection is expected to grow continuously as new songs and genres are added.
According to Reed, "The Company, on the basis of initial reception from record labels, believes Hitsgalore.com will have a favorable impact on record labels, artists and the way music is sold or acquired over the Internet. Unlike MP3 and other downloadable technologies, that can result in huge losses in royalties to record labels and artists due to piracy issues, Hitsgalore.com's sponsor model assures that everyone gets paid and that users get what they want free, in a universal format, without pirating it."
Hitsgalore.com (http://www.hitsgalore.com) has a unique business model of giving away free banners, lifetime banner placement, and other Portal Services. The Company believes its business model compares favorably with other Internet music portals such as MP3.Com Inc. (Nasdaq:MPPP), Musicmaker.com Inc. (Nasdaq:HITS), CDNow Inc. (Nasdaq:CDNW) and Liquid Audio Inc. (Nasdaq:LQID),and with search engine companies such as Lycos, Inc. (Nasdaq:LCOS), GoTo.com, Inc. (Nasdaq:GOTO), Infoseek Corporation (Nasdaq:SEEK) and Yahoo! Inc. (Nasdaq:YHOO).
The Company generates revenue and profits from its Keyword Bid & Rank program, sponsorships of Portal Services, and Local City Editions featuring local content. Hitsgalore.com strives to provide porn-free searching and does not accept or encourage any porn or adult-content listings on its site.
