Fair enough, but honor is a concept that I think deserves greater prominence, and I am not so sure that it is amorphous, when it comes down to motive, as opposed to the array of behavior resulting. A "sense of honor" has to do with "self-esteem", not in the absurd feel- good sense that has become prevalent, but in the sense of attempting to emulate those one admires, and striving oneself to be worthy of admiration....
