Don't sell now! If he's losing it, he will go back to making
average returns on a long term basis (as have so many other
hot funds before), BUT the funds will still be very volatile.
Wait for the eventual upswing.

Or try this: set up an automatic investment plan (I assume
PBHG has such a thing), invest monthly, and don't check back
for at least five years.
