Tejek: You are absolutely right. The price action in the stock today has nothing to do with the lack of coppermine or the "popularity" of Athlon. An amazing statement unto itself considering no one has one. Price action in Intel today is pure profit taking....one of those nice things you get to do when your stock performs incredibly and hits several all time highs over the last 30 days. Price action in AMD is based on acquisition speculation, pure and simple. But of course you knew that, right?
