Just Found this, is it important? Why is FRO selling off what we just bought?

New York, New York, Sep. 07, 1999 (Market News Publishing via COMTEX)
-- Voyant Technologies, Inc., a new company that provides the leading
platform for intelligent voice applications, announced its spin-off
from Frontier Communications, the integrated communications unit of
Frontier Corporation. Formerly Confertech Systems, Voyant Technologies
began operations on Aug. 5, 1999.

Voyant helps telephony service providers integrate the Internet into
their voice product portfolio and helps Internet companies take
advantage of intelligent voice applications. The Voyant platform
leverages both data and video to support all intelligent voice
applications, including on-demand conferencing, data collaboration and
advanced multimedia applications, such as e-Learning and Web marketing.
Later this year, Voyant will unveil further details of its Internet
applications strategy.

"Voyant has emerged with a next-generation communications platform,"
said Bill Ernstrom, Voyant Technologies CEO. "We are one of the few
companies that understands the Internet and telecommunications,
enabling us to deliver on the promise of convergence. Our intelligent
voice platform allows our telecom customers to leverage the flexibility
of the Internet, and Internet customers to capitalize on the
reliability of voice.

"Voyant's new independence from Frontier puts the company in a strong
position to extend its market share by attracting other
telecommunications providers. At the same time, Voyant is now in a
position to leverage its experience in telephony to advance its
Internet strategy.

Voyant has a history of voice innovation. The company developed the
first digital conferencing bridge and is a leader in intelligent voice
applications. Building on expertise in the Advanced Intelligent
Networking (AIN) and SS7 routing, Voyant is helping telecom and
Internet companies develop and deliver voice services to their
customers over the Web.

"Voyant's proven record of innovative, reliable and scalable
technology, coupled with their unique approach to the Internet, has
positioned them as the leader in the industry," said Don Poulter,
Frontier-ConferTech president. "Our customers demand service quality
and Voyant's technology contributes greatly to this requirement."

Voyant was also the first to develop and launch a fully automated
reservationless conferencing system. This system, called ConferenceNow!
delivers control to the end-user and enables instant, multi-point
conferencing and collaboration without an operator. ConferenceNow! is
built on an open application program interface and is customizable for
portals and other Internet companies looking to provide intelligent
voice services.

Voyant currently has more than 200 customers around the world,
including Internet portals, telecom service providers and large
enterprises. Voyant provides its robust platform to customers in more
than 22 countries, including Australia, Canada, Japan, Korea, the
Netherlands, Spain and Switzerland. In its first days as a new company,
Voyant signed two new customers, Bell Atlantic and Conference America.
Some of Voyant's largest customers include Frontier, SBC and VStream.

VStream, an innovator in Web-enabled communications, chose Voyant for
its reliability and scalability. "VStream needed a reliable audio
platform to augment our Internet communications services," said Paul
Berberian, president and CEO of VStream. "Voyant helps us deliver the
latest in true convergence."

Voyant will discuss its vision and strategy in a live Internet
briefing at 10 a.m. MDT/12 p.m. EDT. To participate please visit

conference ID is 4442956. There will be a 25-minute presentation

executives.
