DCF, allow me to present a what if scenario in order to dramatically illustrate my point. A 12 year old girl is walking along a park, she is mauled, raped and beaten to near death. Rushed to the hospital she barely survives alive. There she lay in a coma. While doing some tests on the fourth week, she is found to be pregnant from the assault. The parents near hysterical from the episode, ask the doctor to perform an abortion to spare their daughter the trauma. Would you prevent it? Or, what if she woke up on the fifth week and wanted an abortion Would you prevent it by law? Michael
