hello Tom:

Long time, no talk to. This market feels different. We are on the flipside of the momentum game. If you want to talk about bear markets there's no question the NAZ has had one. This doesn't mean there won't be tradeable rallies for the nimble.. But shorting the stocks that are breaking down or about seems to be the name of the game.
PSFT at resistance at 38 seems to be the case. The technicals fall apart, the stock heads down sharply, then 7/8 into the moves we get the fundamental announcement and the stock gaps down even if with the RSI buried already.
There has to be short covering soon and with the McCellan oscillator at such extemes we have to get some kind of rally. Don't we?
What does one buy? I personally think Id' rather buy murdered stocks where the news is already out and the technicals are favorable then buying the last of the generals (CSCO, MSFT<INTC) My guess these will break down much worse before the downmove is finished.
