Roberto, It may not be the best solution but I run a QP scan that only outputs the symbol. I then copy this to the clipboard and use a macro in MacroExpress (probably any keyboard macro program will do) to type the clipboard text into the Create/Edit portfolio dialog box. This way I can keep the data in QP format. A bit tedious but it works for me. Andy
