mmeggs: I, too, did the swap, but I did it a few weeks ago, during the last "big dip", but to do it now might be risky considering the 31 day rule. If in fact, the merger goes through within 31 days, I think you might end up having bought back the same stock you sold within 31 days. I'm not sure, but those who are considering the swap should check, or maybe someone who knows for sure can post.
