It's hard to figure out if CPQ is being smart about this by making it's 'acting' management folks 'permament' after a 'trial' period, or if they really just cannot attract talent. Seems to me that 6 months should be enough time to find a CFO. Maybe they can dig up Jerome York, who was Gerstner's first 'henchman' CFO at IBM for a stint at CPQ...
