Peete is awful.

Falcons Report:

Many questions were cleared up in the last preseason game. The offense looked very sharp, in contrast to the shoddy performance of the first 3 games. Jamal and Chris Chandler are in midseason form. The big question of replacing Tony Martin is completely cleared up, IMHO. Chris Calloway didn't play until the last preseason game, and he got no pub in New York, but he is an outstanding receiver. The return of RB Byron Hanspard brings us the breakaway threat we didn't have last year. These 2 players will cover for Tony Martin's absence, and then some.

The other big loss was Cornelius Bennett, who had perhaps the best season of his career. His replacement, last year's 1st round pick Keith Brooking looks excellent. He is the fastest LB we've had in a long time. We've added 3 excellent backup DLs, providing us depth we didn't have last year. The front 7 should be better this year than last. The only question mark is at CB, where Ronnie Bradford has inexplicably struggled, and Michael Booker has been hurt. The rest of the secondary is fine.

Overall, the Falcons look a tad better than last year, but with a tougher schedule, we will probably only win 12-13 games.
