Yeah, this is a bit of a mind blower (Retro X?). Maybe it goes like, thinnest possible client for local networks and then adds the Java client as a second phase or option. I wonder if it's a sealed case or what. But hey, if Bill Joy says it's ascended, it must be. The $10mo thing is kinda cool. At this point, CIOs know EXACTLY what PC 'terminals' are costing them per month, and it's got to be more than not buying an Ultra server and a big bag o' SunRays. Sun should probably give up the notion of making margin on monitors. -JCJ
