Here is the future
Llegal pad that is 1/2 inch wide that is a LCD. Any book could be displayed on it and I
can tell it what to do like go out and find the best deals on a monitor. Thus, it is already hooked up to the net
by wireless.
Now the darkside
Price competition will make it almost impossible for one company to hold any type of premium. Thus, many
items will operate in a pure competition environment. Meaning more products produced where the cheapest
labor is. Countries like Africa etc will become increasingly more popular for manufacturing till the point that
we run out of dirt cheap labor. Then either automation will save us or then we see real asset inflation.
Not just hard goods but services will be farmed off shore to the cheapest source. This is already being done
with technical service on some items. I vision a cyber go between with this service that will be a "cultural go
between" thus creating a seamless solution.
More govt. control. The NSA key discovery is just the beginning of how the govt. will know what you are
doing all the time as we become more online. No more downloading nudies from sites without "the man"
knowing which will rear it's ugly head in any legal proceedures..lol
Volatility will even get more ugly in the financial markets as everyone becomes wired to the point that they all
can act as one at that moment. This is why the markets are as crazy as they are and getting crazier.
Eventually, we get a backlash where people are sick of all this static and seek out a more peaceful existence
like veging in front of the tube.
