LSI just plain did the PSI although Sony wants to take the credit themselves. PSII is done by Toshiba and these are two monster chips with all kinds of tricky dynamic logic. Can you name two or three such chips that they did as practice? Please don't mention the MIPS designed chips that Toshiba productized.
