Dave Glad to see you are keeping this board up and running. I was wandering around Canada the last 10 days or so on vacation. For whatever it is worth, and since I post this information for free it ain't worth much, I was reading the Financial Times yesterday on the plane, September 7th, and there was a summary of the events of the London stock market. The article stated, relating to Vodafone, that Chris Gent believes, that is was strongly confident, they will have a deal with Bell Atlantic before the end of September. The article went on to state that Goldman Sachs reported that Vodafone pre-pay was extremely strong in August and that demand was so strong there was a shortage of mobile hand sets as well.
