heinz and ken--

it may be hard to believe but supporting the dollar may not be the initial reaction of the fed. a dropping dollar would cause the trade deficit to explode in the ST, but over time (maybe 3 months out) it would bring it down in a hurry. plus, dropping rates will allow the fed to say they have done everything they could to prop up equities.

i may be VERY wrong, in which case my bond play is going to become a LT position<G>. however, i just dont see any other way for this to play out.

good luck to all,
trey
