Charles - <If you look at the amount of resources that went into Merced and what it has cost Intel w.r.t. x86 roadmap, looks like some one was dreaming otherwise. There was a Dilbert piece yesterday with Dilbert wondering about the winners of "management vs. reality" contest. Sounded like the IA-64 story to me.> You are certainly entitled to your opinion. However, I do not agree with your assessment. I am looking forward to a natural progression over time to IA64. Won't happen tomorrow, but I'm pretty sure It'll happen. PB
