Chief and all fellow Tribe members, <On topic and off topic> I meant to get this out earlier because I'm sure everyone is already on the road to California for the meeting. I hope everyone has a ton of fun ... wish I could get there to see and meet each of you, but as you've no doubt seen on the news, East Timor has fallen into anarchy and I've been very busy assisting with the relocation of our staff to Darwin, Australia. Thankfully, there hasn't been any deaths for our International staff, but, to our utter horror, many of our locally hired East Timorese staff members have either had their homes burnt, family member killed, or they themselves slaughtered. I was previously in Macedonia, next door to Kosovo, and experienced the horrors of that crisis. This is as bad. I'd like to ask everyone who is a part of this board to think of the people of East Timor who have suffered so much to be free. Sorry for standing on my soap box. I'm tired of seeing innocent people being killed. Your friend, Rory.
