Joel,

I agree with you about divesification. I came to that conclusion by
mid-1970's and it has paid well over the past 25 years.
Looking at 1997, we have had one rate hike and we could expect one
or mabe two more rate hikes before Feds are satisfied. It seems
you can'nt win for lossing! If the tighten the rates, it will hurt
the earnings and if they do not we will have an infaltion. Higher
rates could attract more foreign investors to US equity market, but
it can also hurt the US companies exporting abroad. It is a mess!

Now under such circumstances, like to know how you would divide
your eggs? What sector of the market you expect to perform
and why you think CSCO will perform in 1997.
