if Dell can make killer earnings selling PCs, earnings-wise I dont see why C-Cube can't cash in on the single-chip MPEG-1 encoders... after all, C-Cube is the only supplier of those chips. they can cut prices all they want to stimulate demand.

as Fred Chan like to do it, "we cut prices in order to stimulate demand." and they did.

now, let's see C-Cube get its leg up over ESST in 2Q.
